Welcome to this nice holiday home very close to the lake located in the heart of Dalarna. An idyll with a lake view, scenic surroundings and 100 meters below lies Lake Vågsjön. The cottage is tastefully furnished to a good standard and the location is outstanding! Glass-enclosed conservatory (punch porch) and two nice terraces, a large common plot for socializing and playing, here you can enjoy your time off and discover Dalarna up close. The cabin is next to the owner's house but still separate. Open kitchen with dining area and a living room with a fireplace-stove in which you can make a fire, here there is also a comfortable sofa, TV and Wifi. Two bedrooms with double beds and one room with a single bed. The bathroom has a WC, shower and washing machine. There is a wide range of summer activities in the form of hiking, fishing, swimming, hiking trails, bike trails and much more. There are many hiking trails in the area, so pack your picnic and decide which hiking area and hiking trail you want to explore. Swimming with jetty and sandy beach is 4 kilometers away and is called Klockarnäs, or visit Balungstrand in Rättvik. In the resort there is a grocery store and gas station, pizzeria, café, hairdresser, gym, outdoor gym, and soccer field. Dalarna is a fantastic landscape with its historic red-painted blocks and the rural countryside. There is much to discover here for the whole family. Carl Larsson's colorful home in Sundborn is a popular destination and a source of inspiration. The farm is shown every day and visitors learn more about the world-famous artist couple, art, love and their noisy life. At the Carl Larsson farm there is also a shop with design directly from the farm. Shops, shopping and good restaurants can be found in Falun 35 kilometers from the cottage. Tips on what you can do! Bike or rent a canoe at Lake Runn, which lies between Borlänge and Falun and has several islands that give it an archipelago-like character. Enjoy the nice restaurants and cafes you will find along the lake. Also take the opportunity to take a historical trip to Falu Copper Mine in Falun.
