Welcome to a large, older and pleasant house in Sollebrunn, which is located in the center of Västra Götaland, close to both Alingsås, Trollhättan and Gothenburg. The house is large and consists of two parts, an older and a newer part. The older one is from 1800 but was renovated in 1979. The interior is mixed and it is a residence that suits the larger family who wants to go out into the countryside in beautiful nature with nice excursion spots around. In the open fields around there is a good chance of seeing both moose and deer that can graze in the garden. A cat lives on the plot, it is very sweet and social. Feel free to pet the cat and please show consideration. You are welcomed into a large hall, with the family room on the left. Here you have high up to the ridge, 5 m. The room is a pleasant, spacious family room. The interior is nice and mixed with older country style. There are two bathrooms. The one on the lower floor is larger with a shower/wc and sink. The sauna does not work. The house is of an older style, a little worn in some places, but the location is beautiful. The kitchen is charmingly country and an open dining area for 6-8 people. The stairs lead you up to the bedrooms. Bedroom 1: a double bed 180 cm Bedroom 2: a double bed 180 cm Bedroom 3: a single bed 90 cm Bedroom 4: a single bed 110 cm The bathing place Geneviksbadet and a place called the "Hawaii cave" are only 10 minutes by car from your accommodation. Lake Anten is about three kilometers away and there you will find a nice swimming spot and the opportunity to fish. The rural idyll invites you to nice walks and bike rides, but also berry and mushroom picking, and you can advantageously book the house all year round. From the house, it is easy to get to many different attractions in the area such as Gräfsnäs Castle Ruins and Castle Park, which also has a nice swimming area and steam locomotive, the café town of Alingsås, Borås Zoo or why not a trip to Gothenburg with, among other things, a Liseberg and Universeum. Everything is within reasonable distance for a day trip. Warm welcome.
