Nice house with a large garden in Blankan, Högsby with just 200m to magically beautiful Emån. Horses graze beautifully in the paddocks around the house and if you follow the extensive grounds through the paddock, a magnificent view of Emån opens up with the forest beautifully in the foreground. You have a large terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. The house has a nice newly renovated kitchen with a dishwasher. In the living room there is a dining area and sofa group. On the lower floor there is a bedroom with a bunk bed and a pull-out extra bed. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with two single beds each (lower ceiling height). The newly renovated bathroom with wc, sink, shower and washing machine is on the lower floor. Burning not permitted in the stove or wood stove. Electric car charging not allowed in the house, but the neighbor down towards Emån offers this for a fee. Emån is known for its fishing. Fishing licenses can be purchased via Högsby's Tourist Office. Högsby is a beautiful landscape with forested areas linked by a network of lakes, so there are plenty of bathing lakes. Gösjön's swimming area with jumping tower, mini golf and kiosk is popular. There is also a swimming area in the other direction in Övresjön in Fågelfors. More Kastell, Småland's Grand Canyon with its eight km long gorge is well worth a visit. There is also a restaurant at the Aboda Klint nature reserve. It is only 10 km to Högsby with a grocery store and restaurants and 40 km to the coast with Oskarshamn where you have a larger selection and lovely sea bathing. You are also close to the Kingdom of Glass, Kalmar, Öland, Växjö, Västervik and Vimmerby with Astrid Lindgren's World.
