Summary: Firstly, the pictures in the advert had been retouched using Photoshop, which seems to be common practice in Asia. The room was quite spacious, and complimentary toiletries along with two bottles of water per day were provided. The room was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and spoke some English. I heard that a guest staying in a shared room had his money stolen, and the staff were not particularly helpful in assisting him to report it to the police. The hotel has a restaurant that serves good food at prices typical for tourists. They also offer several other services, such as airport transfers and tours. It’s a 15–20 minute walk from the main central area. There isn’t much nearby, just a few bars, restaurants, and a convenience store. If you leave your key at reception, they don’t seem to keep track of which guest is staying in which room, which is rather concerning.
