Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location was beautiful and the USP of the property. The room size was satisfactory. The view of the valley and the hills was stunning. The hosts are a hard working and gracious family. One would consider a revisit during an off season.

Negative: Tubelights and white lights in the room instead of tungsten. We did request a few change of bulbs and were obliged. The aesthetics of the interior decoration were not to our taste. And here's the biggest problem. A mouse/mice entered the room through the ceiling/fireplace and attacked our snacks. The hosts admitted to this and need to do something about it immediately. Other tourists/guests, if not well behaved, could be a nuisance, because it is so quiet and serene here and sound is magnified. We had a bunch of tourists playing loud music outside their room. This should have been stopped by the hosts.

Summary: A lovely property that has the potential of being a premium heritage stay in the future.
