Positive: The restaurant was excellent — easily one of the best parts of the hotel, together with the spa. The breakfast was huge and truly impressive, one of the biggest and best I’ve experienced in the Nordics.

Negative: The rooms were unfortunately not clean enough for the price level. There was noticeable dust in the room and around the hotel, and the white curtains looked quite unhygienic and in need of proper washing. The Maria Åkerberg toiletries give a premium feel, but the plastic kettle covered in limescale did not match that standard. Because of this, I didn’t feel comfortable using it for tea or coffee. A stainless-steel kettle or better descaling would improve the experience.
