Summary: Very disappointing stay and not what I expected from a 4-star Marriott property. When we arrived, the room had clearly not been cleaned thoroughly. There were visible clumps of dust, lint, hair/fibres and other debris on the floor, which appeared to have come out from underneath the furniture. Looking underneath the extra bed revealed even more accumulated dust and debris, as shown in the attached photo. The condition of the floor made us uncomfortable walking around barefoot, so we requested slippers. We checked in as a family of four but were given only three sets of towels. We specifically requested another set, yet housekeeping continued to provide only three throughout our three-night stay. The hotel knew there were four registered guests, so we should not have had to repeatedly ask. Housekeeping was also extremely basic. The bathroom floor was not properly cleaned, and used glasses and mugs were neither cleaned nor replaced. We called “At Your Service” and clearly requested additional towels, glasses and mugs. The request was confirmed, but only glasses were brought, so we had to ask again for the mugs. These are basic expectations at a 4-star hotel. Having to repeatedly request proper housekeeping and basic room items was frustrating. This was probably our most disappointing 4-star hotel experience. It did not reflect the quality I associate with Marriott, and I would not choose to stay here again.
