Summary: We’ve loved Hölicks Havsbad on previous stays, but this time was disappointing. The house was poorly cleaned – sticky floors, beer bottles left behind, dirty kitchen cupboards, a stained sofa, and a cold, dirty hot SPA pool. Staff kindly offered to send cleaners, but as we arrived late and were only staying one night, we cleaned the worst ourselves. We were given a 30% discount, and while we appreciated the gesture, the explanation (too many guests and inexperienced summer staff) was not very reassuring. This was a big disappointment, especially as we know how great this place can be. We really hope this was a one-off, as we’d love to return to the high standards we’ve enjoyed before.
