Tara Bed and Breakfast, is conveniently situated on a timelessly beautiful property in the centre of the delightful township of Guildford and is home to the original heritage listed Tara Homestead, built in the early 1860’s by a leading Guildford merchant. Guildford is a small but picturesque village, which was once part of an area known as the “ Golden Triangle” in central Victoria; the scene of the famous gold rush of the 1850’s.
Tara BnB is 10 minutes from Castlemaine and 20 minutes from Daylesford. There are many attractions close by including; a short walk to the timeless Guildford General Store, Delmenico's Family Hotel & The Big Tree, the Guildford Winery, the Chocolate Mill, Mt Franklin, Vaughn Springs, Mill Markets, Castlemaine Botanical Gardens, Art Galleries and Cafes just to mention a few.
