Renovated, spacious holiday home, situated on a road about 1 km outside the small village of Pauliström, in the middle of the nature of the Smaland highlands with many bathing and fishing lakes. The 1,300m2 garden invites you to linger. The stately rooms of the old village shop exude an elegant yet cosy ambience. Here you can enjoy your holiday. Whether in the south-facing living/dining room or in the north-facing kitchen, from where you can watch deer and hares in front of the forest. All rooms have beautiful tiled stoves.
The sights associated with the stories from Astrid Lindgren's books can be reached in a few minutes by car (Mariannelund approx. 20 km, Vimmerby approx. 44 km) and if you are looking for adventure, you can find it at the gold mining site approx. 17 km away. The small municipality of Karlstorp is known far and wide for its beauty, so it is also worth exploring the surrounding area.
The house is located on a road from which the red gravel tracks lead to small forest villages. Here you can get an idea of how Michel and Co. used to live - time seems to stand still!
